To set a password for your SanDisk flash drive:
Download SanDisk SecureAccess and install it.
Set a password when you run the software.
Move files into the Vault to encrypt them.
You’ll need the password to access the files later.
If you want, you could you PrivateAccess to encrypts and password protect files on SANDISKUSB flash drives. However, support ended for PrivateAccess on December 1, 2025.
To set a password for limited access to your USB flash drive, you may use Microsoft’s encryption tool -BitLocker and third-party disk utilities.
