Hello and Help please - WD drive no power

Hi

I have a WD hard disk and when i plug it in there is no power, it did not fall or anything.

It was working earlier, I pulled out usb socket to another drive by accident and put back in and no power

all other drive work

should i buy a new power supply 

can the data be retrieved if new power supply does not work

any advice appreciated

If you are still under warranty call tech support regarding the power adapter.
