My 8GB Sansa Fuze makes a clicking/skipping sound instead of the music when the head phones are plugged in all the way. To make it usable, I have to pull it out slightly, and it stops skipping, but then when I am jogging, it goes back in and skips or comes out all the way often. I saw in our messages that people have had the similar problems. I just updated it and it has nothing to do with the music because it
worked a few months ago with the same songs and all my songs are ripped from my cds on to my computer under the same settings.
Any ideas?
Do you mean you have interruptions in the music? Is it also depending on how loud you play the music?

Take (or send) it back. Most Fuzes have a very tight headhone jack and most find they have to really push hard to seat the plug inside of the jack.
If you however, have the opposite problem it’s most likely a defective jack.
