Fuze cases and skins are hard to find and expensive!

The silicone covers we sell aren’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend them unless you can’t find a better alternative out there… I’ve found the invisible shield is the best value available right now. I hate the covers we sell at Rat Shack because they aren’t exactly easy to get into or out of your pocket.

Do you mean the silicon covers?  I love that they are hard to come out of pockets or slide off desks.  I like that little extra protection.  Plus they make the Fuze look nice.  My coworker was telling our other coworker about how it changed colors with the cover (not too much, I got the “clear” over my pink which made it more white) and that was a suggestion for her for her new ipod (yea they both got ipods… not sure why ;).  Does using a different color silicon cover change other colors much?

I like the idea of one with a lanyard, but I have the belt clip and arm band that came with my silicon one.

This is now available at Amazon for only $17.99!

“This” what? Several different itmes have been mentioned in this topic (a topic that was long dead before you bumped it, by the way).

Yeah, what are you talking about? You can get skins with the belt clip and armband basically for free on Amazon for only the $3.00 shipping.

sorry, but this(stocking of skins) isnt even happening for zune and ipod at alot of stores, I would suggest you check out bestskinsever

http://www.bestskinsever.com/sandisk-sansa-fuze

even if you get a silicon or crystal case, i would advise you get a skin(the one linked above) they protect the fuze from scratching or scuffing that can happen even when in a case(grit gets inside all those cases, i know i have had a few)

and your only real option for cheap cases is ebay or simmlar where people sell stuff stupid cheap(i got 2 crystal cases for 2.50shipped a while back for a friend)

the invisiable shield is the same thing as sold by bestskinsever but BSE’s price is like 1/3 or less that of the BSE, only dif being that you gotta make your own solution for install(easy peasy)

ZAGG skins are a bit over priced(ok very over priced) thats why alot of us recomend http://www.bestskinsever.com/sandisk-sansa-fuze over ZAGG, they are the same material, only dif being you dont get a spraybottle of soapy water with the skin, you have to make you own(so hard!!!)

how about a nice case for one cent?

whats the deal with these resellers over at amazon, is this a scam. do they charge you 20 dollars for shipping or something?

add to cart and check, My experience is that some HK sellers will do this, and still make money charging very little for shipping.

I would still advise a BSE under that kind of case, those cases tent to get small amounts of “grit” inside and can scuff the surface, It happened to my first fuze, A bse skin will block that and still let you use either a crystal case(what you linked) or a silicon case, and still keep things cheap

My Fuze is too scratched up by now for a nice case. The paint has come right off of the control wheel. I don’t really care, it’s served me well I can’t complain. Was just asking why it was 1 cent. My Shenanigans detector had gone off.

BTW To the original Poster, I would just buy one at amazon, they have many resellers who sell products under the stores name and if you should buy something from amazon. they only give your shipping address and email to the reseller not your credit card info, that stays with the store I believe.

You have about a 5 dollar shipping fee.

I bought this and it did its job very well . . . until it scratched up (fairly easily).

Can’t go wrong with the clear hard case from Amazon.  I’ve had one for some time (actually several 'cause they’re so cheap).  Has all the openings for controls and connections.  No dust collects inside.  I dropped it once and the shell split apart, but the Fuze was undamaged.  Snapped it back together and saved my Fuze from damage.  White belt clip comes with it.  Used it for a few days, but the unit come off the clip once, so I never used the clip again.  The Fuze fits in the hard case like a glove.  The only thing is that you have to press a little harder to switch the unit on/off because the switch is recessed in the case.  Also, the USB cable might be a little snug when plugging into the Sansa.  Other than that, it’s the best thing I bought for the Fuze.
