Recordings are in WAV format which is uncompressed, meaning fairly large files. Maybe you reached the maximum internal available memory space and that’s why it stopped the recording.
One can only record to the internal memory, not an external memory card so the only way to get more recording time is by freeing up more internal memory space by shifting some of your other fles to an external card or by getting a device with a larger internal memory.
