Flashing light on WD 1TB drive

Hi all, since yesterday my WD 1TB Book drive light has been flashing and will not BU on Time Machine on my Mac.

I have restarted to no avail and tried different USB ports, but can’t seem to get my WD drive to connect with my Mac.

Any advice please?

Hello,

Make sure the drive is plugged in directly into a wall outlet and replace the USB cable if possible.
