Hi I’ve got a 1 month old Sandisk Extreme 240GB which I had installed in my macbook.
Yesterday the laptop stopped responding as I tried to launch an application. After a reboot, the SSD is not recognised at all at boot or in the OS.
I’ve pulled the drive out and tried it on two different USB sata bridges, still not detected.
Same with installing the drive in a regular desktop, it’s not recognised by bios at all, although it’s slows down post from taking 5-10 seconds to taking over a minute.
Model SDSSDX-240G-G25 Rev 1-R112
with the date 09Feb2012 on the label.
Is there anything I can go to reset the drive before getting it replaced?
What is the process for getting it replaced?
Regards,
Andrew
