Equalizer not working?!

Brand new Sansa Clip. 1 GB, ver. 2.01.16

 

No matter what EQ mode I set in Equalizer it is not working.

1. Press Menu button to return to Main Menu.

2. Move down to Settings and select it.

3. Select Equalizer.

4. Move down to the desired EQ mode and press

 

Please advise.

4. Move down to the desired EQ mode and press “select”  (center button).

This will lock in the equalizer setting you want.

If you dont select the setting it will not be applied.

I know how to apply settings - that was not issue.

It turned out that Equalizer doesn’t apply to FM radio. That’s why I couldn’t have it work – as I was listening radio mostly. Once I have started with mp3 songs I could apply equalizer settings with no problem.

Is this a bug or what? Why can’t equalizer work with radio?

Equalizer doesn’t influence the radio, since fm radio isn’t digital.
