I haven’t seen a class 10 one.  Only class 2 and class 4.  Can you post a link to the website so that we can take a look at it?

Except those are not Micro SD cards. They are full sized.

the new ultra micro SDHC cards are UHS-1 which is same minimum as class 10

I did buy that SD card 2 weeks ago from a very legit shop (Dixons at London Heathrow Airport). It cost me enough money to assume it was a proper one from the manufacturer. Well, guess what, it is corrupted! I could use it in a GoPro camera for an hour and then it died on me. I must admit I am pretty furious.
My advise so far is: stay away

I have tried to reformat it from Windows 7 or from my GoPro cam but it failed.
Is there a specific program that would allow me to reformat it? Is this card recoverable or not?

Cheers, Stan

Sometimes a defective card can slip through the manufacturing and inspection process and end up in a consumer’s hands.  That’s what a warranty is for.  I suggest that you return/exchange the card at Dixons, if possible.  If not, then you can contact Sandisk Tech Support at the link below about a warranty replacement.  Cards that are purchased in retail packaging have a 5 year warranty.

It’s faster to call them, than to email them.

In the end, the formating softwares given above didn’t work so I returned it to Dixons and got my money back.
