Does MSC mode affect the Sansa Updater?

I noticed a thread that explaining how to change the Express to MSC mode… I want to do it… but will it affect the Sansa Updater? I rather like the ease of update that it allows… Not that we get many updates… :smiley:

All firmware updates should be done in MSC mode.

So the Sansa Updater will Recognize it? Because I’ve never updated it by changing it to MSC… It’s always been in MTP as far as I know…

The Updater appears to change it from MTP to MSC as part of the update process.

Hmm… Well the Sansa Updater No longer Recognizes My Express… But that doesn’t really matter… It shouldn’t be hard to switch it back when I need it… MSC just works better…
