Does anyone know how to recover data?

Recovering data depends on the type of data loss and the file system in use. First, stop using the device to prevent overwriting lost data. If you have a backup, restore the files from there. For file systems like ReFS, specialized recovery tools or Windows Server’s built-in tools like “chkdsk” may help. You can also try data recovery software such as BLR Data Recovery, Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery, or Disk Drill. If these methods don’t work and the data is critical, professional data recovery services may be needed. Acting quickly increases the chances of successful recovery.

Good advice! Checking Disk Management and using tools like Stellar Data Recovery Free can help if the SD card isn’t detected. Trying different card readers or systems may also work.

I like BLR data recovery tool. If you want an alternative tool for recovering data from either logical damage or physical damage (HD/SSD), the PC3K offers more advanced features. However, it’s not just software; you need to purchase some equipment.

BLR is a rebranded EaseUS product. I am not aware of any data recovery professional that uses either product.

These are the tools that the pros use:

Many are cheaper than the high-visibility tools that are heavily spammed in various storage forums.

Here is a case where DMDE (US$20) recovered the full file/folder structure within seconds whereas both EaseUS and Disk Drill scanned the entire drive and found only raw results:
