Hi, I have a 500MB my passport for mac. Ive deleted over 250MB of files from it but it still says theres only 3.3GB available. Any ideas why its not freeing up space? 
It could be due to a virus or partition problem
try writing zeros ( low level format ) with Data Lifeguard Diagnostics
