My current mp3 player Clip Jam is the 3rd Sandisk mp3 player i bought the last 7-8 years since the other two stopped working eventually .So Sansa Clip+ (and a Sansa Clip Zip ) are still stting dead in a drawer as i realised while i was due to covid19-enclosure rearranging my stuff .

1)The Sansa Clip Zip did nt died at once . It Initially it took a longer and even longer time to boot and eventually it stop while booting showing a whole screen painted green .Then nothing, not even the full green screen. I have tried many times all the possible combinations of keys without any event a glimpse of succes. Now when i connect it to the computer it does nt show anything on its small screen nor it shows as a device to “my computer”.
Even when i use a rather powerfool -at least to my knowledge - application named USBDEVIEW that shows every usb device connected to the pc even the malfuctioning ones shows that is plugged.
2)As for the Sansa Clip + it died at once . It had a broken volume+ button problem early in its life but i keep using it at full volume. It showed some clumsy/unresponsive behaviour a litlle before it went of but nothing too serious to alert me before it died . And sometime when it booted it stopped at the sansa boot screen with the sansa “flower” logo and stucked there .
I have tried many times all the possible combinations of keys without any succes. Now when i connect it to computer the it boots and stops to the sansa boot screen with the sansa flower and stuckes there . No sign that i have connected the Sansa Clip + is shown to my computer either.

Sometimes when i connect it to a charger with original sansa cable it went a small step forward after the sansa flower logo and shows the refresh bar when itstarts to update the file database but then stucks at the start of bar even if u leave the Sansa clip + connected to the charger for several hours .
Is there a way to recover a certain file ,a recording from them (i m not sure in which one of the two possibly the Sansa Clip Zip but not sure).
Not to unbrick them just to see them as “flash drives” and recover this certain file a recording from one of them .
And it is nt bussines related ,just a sound file a recording of my father , who since last summer “is no longer with us” .
Is there any way for me to recover the certain file ?
