Cruzer Pop 16GB - error message

Hi,

I just bought Cruzer Pop 16 GB. I tried to transfer a 6.5 GB file and got the following message: “The item can’t be copied because it is too large for the volume’s format”. If I transfer a 1 GB file it’s fine. rrrr stange. What am I missing?  I’m using Mac 10.9.4

Well, it’s simple; Cruzer 16 GB, comes with the FAT32 format, which supports file sizes up to 4GB.

For larger files, you can format NTFS (Windows only), or exFAT (Windows and Mac ).
