Hello people i’ve recently bought a Cruzer blade Usb flash drive to use on my macbook air …whilst playing movies from the drive, ive noticed the plastic casing on the sandisk is getting hot ,and i mean very hot…is that normal just needed some feedback and thanks.

No, that doesn’t sound normal at all. While flash drives can get warm during heavy use, it shouldn’t become excessively hot to the touch. I would suggest try using the drive on another system and see if the problem still continues. Or, its possible that there’s a defect in the drive itself, which is causing it to overheat.
