Have you tried the Blades in a different machine?  With a different OS?

but returning them to the seller is probably quicker.

This is NOT an official SanDisk Tech Support or Customer Service forum. This IS a user’s forum. Requesting an RMA or replacement here will result in nothing to solve your problem. You need to contact SanDisk in the correct way.

Try a simple windows update too. Perhaps it would make a difference.
