Connecting USB C to USB A - I need an adapter that works

I have purchased several External hard drives and need some recommendations on connecting them to my Windows 11 machine
I need a USB Convertor recommendation that will take the drives USB C connection and plug into my USB A Windows 11 machine
I have purchased two different ones on Amazon and have had not luck
This is the drive(s) that I purchased.

SanDisk Professional 4TB PRO-G40 SSD - Up to 3000MB/s, Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps), USB-C (10Gbps), IP68 dust/Water Resistance, External Solid State Drive - SDPS31H-004T-GBCND

Any assistance would be greatly apprecaited
