Computer stopped recognizing Passport Ultra

I was using my Passport Ultra for backups. It was full so I reformatted it. Then I decided to create a Recovery Drive–it was already listed in my drives and I thought it was on the internal hard drive. When I did this the Passport Ultra HD disappeared. The Recovery drive uses less than 35 GB. Prior to this there were two separate drives listed: HD External drive and Recovery drive. How can I get the HD External drive back? I’m using Windows 10.

I just solved the problem–I reformatted the drive.
