Hi, I have a sansa clip zip. When charging via pc, “connected” icon displays. However does not appear when use adapter plug.
I can however see a what looks like might be a small charging icon top right.
Is this normal/working?

That’s normal. When hooked up to a PC, it’s making a data connection, hence the “connected” icon. When using a simple AC/USB charger, it’s not making a data connection to anything.
