CF card show error CHA

Hi,

I just purchase my CF card last week and one the mist of taking pic for an event suddenly error message pop up CHA, i took out from the camera and slot it back still same error. Try other CF card, works pefect. I plug in the cf into computer and it didnt detect. Can anybody help how to get back the pic inside as it belongs to my client. Can anybody help how to format the CF card as it cant detect on camera or pc.

CHA error is a generic card error on nikon cameras. If the card is getting this error in the camera and it is also not detected by the PC the card has likely failed. For data recovery you would need to contact a company that provides data recovery services. this would be at your own cost. LC technologies is a company that I would recomend. after you check on data recovery you can contact sandisk support for replacement of the card.

Its not fair as the card is only 1 week old…if it was after year old i understand and my camera also 1 week old… i dont think so its my camera fault as my SD is working perfectly. Anyway i already send the CF card to recovery data centre in malaysia.

Try to take out the cf card and prepare yourself a card reader. Plug it in to the card reader and then connect it to the computer.

Download cf card recovery software, and use it to scan your cf card.

If you are lucky, all lost pictures would come back

Why are you posting a spam link to a Mac Photo Recovery software?

Nowhere did the OP say he was using a Mac!
