Can't retrieve backup from My Passport on new harddrive

Hi

I have just installed a new internal hard drive on my laptop.  

When I go to retreive all my files from My Passport, using the WD Smartware “Retrieve” tab, only the information from my new hard drive appears available :cry:

When I look at My Passport files via Windows Explorer, all the files from my previous backups (from my old hard drive) are their but I am unable to access or retri9eve/transfer them to my new harddrive.  Surely I should be able to select these by running the retrieve function via the “Retrieve” tab in the WD Smartware screens? 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The files need to be restored manually in this case

the software was updated from an older version that does not support keeping the old backup structure
