I’ve followed everystep that the WD website told me to. I downloaded the latest firmware, and the latest Smartware, but Smartware didn’t allow me to disable VCD. Then I tried using the Virtual CD manager, which I just downloaded off of their website, but that wouldn’t detect my drive. Then I tried multiple softwares to format the entire drive and just delete the VCD once and for all, but it’s still there. I’m stuck, and I need help.

If possible try connecting the Passport to another PC and try again. Note that disabling the VCD will only hide it, but it wont return the space used by it.
You can also go into the Device Manager and disable it there. You can’t remove it.
