Can I still transfer files on a Sandisk connect 32gb?

Hi all, just want to confirm the 32gb Sandisk Connect can wirelessly transfer files from PC to Connect wireless stick via the IP/web interface. I got one used that can transfer files to the stick when plugged into USB and I can also connect to the access point it provides and the interface comes up when I type in the IP. Unfortunately all the interface offers is the message “There is no memory card present. Please insert a compatible memory card.” So far I have:

  1. reformatted using a Windows PC file explorer option to both FAT32 and exFat
  2. Held down the power button for 15 seconds
  3. ran chkdsk /f on drive with no found problems

Any thoughts on how I could correct my issue or should I alter my sequence as this is my first experience with the connect… Thanks in advance for any help

The issue may be due to the wireless stick not recognizing its internal storage. Try formatting it via Disk Management (not File Explorer), check it through the SanDisk Connect mobile app, look for firmware updates, and test it on a different PC. If it still shows the same error, the hardware might be faulty.

I believe it could be a firmware or internal memory detection issue.
Try reformatting it to FAT32, then do a full reset by holding the power button for 30 seconds. Next, try to connect it again via its Wi-Fi and use the SanDisk Connect mobile app for better results. If it’s an older Wireless Flash Drive, it does require a microSD card.
