It sounds like your SanDisk 1.5TB SD card is too slow for video recording, causing the white screen and errors. Non-Insta360 cards might not always handle the recording speeds required. Try using a faster card (UHS-3 or V30) that’s recommended for video. You could also format the card or test it in another device. If the problem continues, the card might be faulty and you may need to replace it.
There’s nothing like a “bootable drive” per se. Any drive can be made bootable by correct partitioning, installing OS and bootloaders. However, Windows won’t allow you to easily boot from a portable drive. You’ll have to use Linux to do that.
