I have been using a WD Passport for backups. I am concerned, however, about accessing data if my computer crashes. In other words, I’d like to take the external drive, plug it into another computer, and access all my data. I’m not seeing an option in SmartWare to synch. I have used SyncToy in the past for work, but ideally would prefer something from WD. Does anyone know if this can be done with WD?

WD Smartware is not a Sync software but a backup software. WD Does not have a Sync software compatible with the Passport drives.
