my sansa seems to be stuck on pause, but only on audio books. anyone got a remedy.
Mine actually did that last night. Toggling the button caused the correct symbols for Play and Pause to display, but it didn’t play and the counter never incremented. After shutting it off & restarting, it worked fine.
I’ve had mine ~9 months and that was the first time it’s done that. If it continues to be a problem, I’ll be following Miikerman’s suggestion with the firmware!
And if a simple off/on doesn’t do the trick, maybe you need to reset it. Press and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds. Release, and then press it again momentarily to power it on. It should (with any luck) start up normally and everythng will be fine.
