The story, I plugged my WD My Passport Ultra into our TV at work on May the Fourth to play Star Wars for everyone, when day was over I turned off the TV then removed my device (as always). I went home, plugged it back into my TV and there are my files (still to this moment it recognizes on any TV). Sunday evening I went to plug it into my PC to copy some more files when it told me "Access Denied’.
I did some online searching, saw some posts about a possible security permissions issue from the television. Monday morning, I plugged it back into the TV, it worked fine but I was unable to access any kind of settings to adjust any security options changes.
So I went back to online lurking of posts with same issues from changing permissions/owners on the security tab, modifying the registry to “take ownership” to trying to change the drive letter. Nothing has worked so far and I’m still facing the “Access Denied” error.
Any ideas?
