2TB WD Elements not working with USB 3.0 after motherboard change

Hi,
I recently bought a new motherboard + CPU and after that my WD Elements won’t work with USB 3.0 anymore. It only works with 2.0. I disabled USB-Powersaving and my USB 3.0 Hostcontroller-driver is the newest.
My system:

  • Windows 10 Pro Version 1803 Build 17134.228
  • ASRock Z370 Pro 4
  • Intel i5 8600k
  • 16GB G.Skill RipJaws DDR4-3200

Does the drive shows up in the disk management while connected to USB 3.0 port?

Hi,
thanks for answering. No, it won’t show up in the disk management. It seems like, it won’t get recognized at all because it’s not shown in the device manager and there’s no connection sound when plugged in.
