I bought a 1TB microSD card a couple of days ago. Formatted NTFS. Transferred about 300GB of data, files, videos and photographs. Today, I tried to add more files and my computer did not detected . It is like it does not exist. Used a couple fo different adapters, sd readers, cleaned it up with alcohol and nothing. Other micro SD are read without any issues by the same computer. Can someone please tell me how to access the MicroSD?
Alex, I think you need to check the status of the hard drive in Disk Management:
Right-click the Windows Start button and select Disk Management. Then look at the bottom half of the window to see if any drive matches the size of your SD card or shows up as “Unallocated”, “RAW”, or “Not Initialized”.
A. If it shows up as RAW or Unallocated: The hardware is still alive but the partition is corrupted. You can try using data recovery software to get back the lost files.
B. If it does not appear in Disk Management: The card’s internal controller is completely dead.
