I have bought a 12TB G-drive two months ago. Worked fine until last week the drive does not mount anymore. I have it connected to a MacBook Pro with Sequoia OS.
I have tried through ‘Disk Utility’ to get it mounted but it says that some datelines are corrupted. My question: how does this suddenly happen as I did not do anything special and secondly, more important, how can I fix this?
I have about 8TB used and it is recoverable with Stellar (Veriphone) but needs a 19TB storage space for this which I do not have available.
Any suggestions?

I am very frustrated.
I bought a new G-drive 12T which does not work.
I tried to get info but got lost between WD and Scandisk.
I openend a support case, but I cannot get access to my message as it does not accept my password.
I am in desperate need to get to my stored data on this disc but nobody cares.
Why do you call it ’support’ if there is no way to get a problem fixed.
