Wont connect via wireless cloud router

I have a 4 terabyte My Book drive that will not connect to my Macbook via an SSK Cloud SW001 router. I have tried everything but it just cant be discovered or connected via WiFi.

  • When I plug it into my Macbook via USB it works fine.

  • I do not have a password on the My Book or have it encrypted.

  • When I plug a USB thumb drive into the router it instantly pops-up so it is not the router.

Is there WD software on the My Book or some kind of setting I have missed?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Well, I’ve looked all over SSK’s website and can’t find a manual for that product, but I would question whether or not it’s compatible with HFS+ (or whatever file system other than NTFS the drive is formatted with.)
