When connecting the WD extenal disk it ask me to format

I’ve WD external Hard disk my passport 0748 usb when I connect it to my computer it give me a message " You need to format the disk in drive G: before you can use it" I don’t want to format because the disk contain all my backup value information. When checking the drive in disk management it shows it as

1920×1046 121 KB
, I need your help to sort this problem and keep my data on this disk.

Hello,

Are you able to test the drive on a different PC? If stills the same, try using a data recovery software to see if you can get the data out of the drive.
