Thank you for reading my post and i need your precious assistance and guidance. I have 2 WD external passport drives. Both of them are locked using the Bitlocker password, and same password. I have been using it for many years but until this afternoon, i tried to enter my password but it keep saying the password entered is incorrect. I dont have the recovery password either.
After i failed to enter the password, i tried to enter different passwords to try (as i wasnt sure what is my real password, i have too many passwords in my life).
I tried to enter the passwords way too many times, maybe like 500 times over 2 hours but still cannot open it.
Can i know if there the BItlocker will locked me off after an ‘x’ amount of failed attempts?
It keeo repeating the same thing, ‘‘the password enterred is incorrect’’ though. It doesnt mentione the harddrive is locked due to too many failed attempts.
I am sure i have entered the correct password, after 500 attempts, i must have got 1 more them right.
So i am suspect that the WD harddrive automatically locked me off after an ‘‘x’’ amount of failed attempts.
Is this possible?
Is there any chance i can unlocked this drive? I tried to Googled the answered but i failed to find any solutions.
