WD Smartware - “Backup” Greyed Out - after install of new drive.
I am rotating out my backup - I “safely removed” my old WD Duo drive and attached a new WD Mybook drive.
I formatted and renamed the volume in Disk Manager. It shows as an available drive in Windows File Explorer, but in WD Smartware Professional,
From the “Home” screen “Backup” is greyed out. My new WD drive is shown as a “source” option, but not a “target” option.
Should not the new MyBook automatically show as a Backup Target?
Help appreciated!
