I have a passport drive that was working fine. I accidentally left it plugged in when I re-imaged my machine and it was erased. After the computer was up and running again I plugged in the passport and Windows didn’t recognize it. I went to disk management and saw that it was listed as having RAW data. I then formatted it and it appeared fine but had no drive letter. I then assigned a letter to it. Windows does not recognize this drive even though disk management does. I tried to use it as a backup drive after I gave it a letter but Windows backup doesn’t see it. Again, disk management DOES see it but Windows backup does not. What happened to this drive? How do I get this working again?
