WD Passport Help! :( #1200u017-001

Hi! Looking for some help/advice. This passport will start when plugged in (light comes on) and spin, “minor click” and keep spinning then after 40 seconds eventually stop. I’ve tried everything (and read everything I could online)… as like most I’m afraid of going to data recovery place since it’s $$$ and not sure if data is still there or recoverable.

Any thoughts guys??! Thanks!! - Danny

Oh and ps… it won’t show up in disk utility on Mac but it shows in system info -

Like I said won’t show in disk utility or mount obvi (on brand new Mac book)… but shows here. Thoughts ?!
