WD Passport 2TB USB 3.0 SMART passed, QUICK test failed

Problem: 1. Some directories do not open, returning CRC error. 2. When copying directories that do open, the copying process may slow down significantly and/or freeze with only a few files actually copied. Only hard closing of the browser or shutting down the computer would help the freeze. Tried special copying software (e.g. Unstoppable Copier) with settings made to copy only good, readable files without any attempts to read bad ones, however it still freezes. I could not find a copying program which could avoid this problem and let me copy whatever is still possible to copy. Anyone knows such program, please ?

The device connects to computer without any problems, makes no abnormal noise. Warranty is already over. WD Drive Utilities passed its SMART test but did not pass QUICK test. I did not do EXTENDED test for the fear of making things worse. Could not get any exact SMART date from this WD utility, its pretty useless as far as details are concerned. I managed to get SMART data via HDDscan program. I assume its standard reference values are useless as they are set for other devices, but results must be from my HDD. The Raw Read Error Rate is 2B03, Reallocation Event Count 0002 and Current Pending Errors Count - 07D1.

The exact SMART report is below. I would be very grateful for any insights on this situation. I am afraid to run any error correction software before copying whatever I can copy, but the bloody freeze makes this task impossible as there are millions of files on the disk and I cant manually shut down and start the copying again and again…
