I bought this 3 years ago, and it just died on me. The fan and turn on and there is the clicking sound. I took it apart and found 2 500GB SATA drives. I want to plug them in to see if I can get data out. Has anyone tried this? Thanks for the help.
I think the drives were setup in configurations of RAID. One method mirrored RAID 1 and had a capacity of 500 gig and RAID 0 had the 1T capacity. In RAID 0 I think the files were written across both drives and may not be complete on one drive. You’ll have to find somebody with more knowledge for more help.
