Hi

I’d like to upgrade my MyBook (WD20000H2U) by replacing disk drives to 2x4TB WD RED (or other type of 4tb hard drives). Is it possible to install 2 x WD40EFRX drives? Is there anywhere support matrix for disk drives?

“Important: Only WD Green (WD Caviar® GP) hard drive assemblies can be inserted into the My Book Studio Edition II or Mirror Edition enclosure.”

“The user serviceable enclosure will only work with replacement hard drives from Western Digital. Inserting a non-Western Digital hard drive into the enclosure could cause damage or data loss.”

I’ve installed 2 x 4TB WD GREEN (WD40EZRX), but WD Raid Manader can only make RAID 1 - 1,6TB logical disk (or 3.2 RAID 0).  Do you have any ideas why?
