WD Mybook 3 TB External Drive taking extremely long time

Hello, all!

I came here because the amount of time taking my computer to back up is terribly long. I started at 6 in the evening, and left it overnight, and it only has backed up 700 MB out of 164 GB as of now. Is there anything that I can do in order to solve this?

Hi, That is to slow, have you tried using another USB port? Or also connecting the my book to another PC to see if you get the same transfer speed.
