WD Mybook 2006-2008-ish (WD10000C033-000) | Access Issues

Hi there,

I’m looking to gain access to an old external WD My book hard drive of mine from around '06-'08 - serial number WD10000C033-000. The hard drive is recognized on my device manager as a disk drive and in a separate category named “WD Drive Management Devices”.

The issue I’m having is it will not let me access the drive. It does not show up on my PC as a device/drive in the file manager window.

I have the most recent drivers downloaded.
I am running the device on a windows 10 OS.

Not sure where else to go as customer service did not call me back.

Hi, thank you for the link. Unfortunately there is an error and the system will not allow me to submit a ticket.

after that message, it just has this loading symbol which I assume isn’t loading anything since I let it sit for about 5 minutes.
