WD My Passport showing short storage

I just recently reformatted my WD My passport to be used on a PC. I originally had it formatted for my Mac. When plugged into my Mac it shows the total 4TB is available, when I plug it into my PC, it only shows 3.64TB is available (3.64TB out of 3.64TB available). Does anyone know what this means or how to get the full 4TB available?

3.638GB is the correct capacity for a 4TB Hard drive.

Advertised capacity is based on Base 10 numbers … Computers use Base 2

Sounds like you Mac thinks 1KB is 1000 bytes (Base 10)… which is incorrect

PC is correct at … 1KB = 1024 bytes (Base 2)
