WD My Passport drive not accessible

My WD My Passport drive when connected to my laptop shows up in My Computer with H:. But when i click the folder , its goes into not responding mode in Windows 7 laptop. Have tried it in other laptops as well. I am unable to open the folder, as it never comes up when i double click the H drive. Can anyone help me resolve this issue.

It seems like the drive is corrupted.
