I have a my passport 1 tb and for somedays it’s not working properly.in fact,right now,it’s not working at all.some days ago,it took unusually long to load up the contents of the drive.but now,it’s not loading and whenever I try to open it,it gets stuck and my computer starts lagging severely.I’m using Win7 and also tried it in ubuntu.it can load in ubuntu but data transfer speed is extremely low.
Can anybody help me out by giving some sort of solution for this??

Hello, you can run a test with DLG, if the test completes fine then your files are provably corrupted. Backup all the files that you can with a data recovery program like recuva or testdisk and then format the passport.
