My external drive is not powering up. I have it plugged into the wall and my macbook. I have tried different outlets. Nothing. I hardy use it. In fact have not taken it out in a while. I use it to hold photos. Should I try getting a new ac adapter?
You can try different USB cable if you have any and also try any other USB port available on you Mac first before buying a new power adapter. Also check you can feel the drive spinning/vibrate.
