I’ve noticed that this USB drive don’t turn off when I shut down my pc. Led start blinking and never stop as if it was in suspended state.
This happen with Windows 10 (fall creator update installed) but not with Mac Os High Sierra (Installed in the same pc with hackintosh). With Mac Os, after system shutdown even Wd elements led stop blinking an turns off correctly.
I don’t know how to solve this issue…

It’s totally normal for the drive to show blinking LED when the computer is switched off. Blinking LED indicated the drive is on Standby mode.
it has never been so until the last Windows update…how can you explain that led stops blinking if computer is shut down with Mac Os?

I’ve noticed that shutting down Windows with button in start menu, led is blinking, switching off Windows with command shutdown -s -t00 led stops blinking!
Microsoft should have made some change in USB power management when pc is shutting down, or in the way windows shuts down…
