WD Black D10 12TB Spin down and Fan control

Hi, I just purchased this external disk.It seems to be always spinning, even when not in use.

Does it have a built-in spin-down and after how long is it supposed to spin down?
Also, is there a way to lower the temperature threshold when the internal fan gets activated?

It comes with the HGST HUH721212ALE604 disk.

Also, WD drive util does not recognise it. WD Dashboard does, but it has absolutely no customization options.

Thanks!

The HGST HUH721212ALE604 drive spins continuously as it’s designed for enterprise use. Spin-down depends on the enclosure firmware, which usually doesn’t allow customization. The fan activation temperature is also fixed and not adjustable. WD Dashboard recognizes the drive but doesn’t offer spin-down or fan control options. Check for firmware updates to your enclosure.

Perhaps my post wasn’t that clear. I have the WD_BLACK D10 12Tb external drive.
Ignore the fan, I appreciate that there is no control.

About the spin-down issue:
How long should it take for the WD_BLACK D10 12Tb to spin down when not in use?

Asking because no matter what PC i plug it to, it never spins down, and it is supposed to spin down after a while.
