I was in the process of reformatting my WD 1TB portable drive when Windows shut down, now neither PC I have will recognize the drive. The lights are blinking and the drive is spinning, but Disk Manager won’t recognize it.
Any suggestions, or is this drive kaput? I’ alarmed at the number of similar posts I see on this forum, which suggests these things are a common problem…
Hi, you can try using DLG to write zeros and then try to format the HDD again. Check below for the link.
