Viewing pictures already loaded into My Book Essential 500GB External Drive

I have moved about 13 GB of photographs from my PC ( WIndows XP) into my My Book 500 GB External Hard Drive . I have been able to view the pictures until now . Now when I go to look at the picture files a page comes up showing all the photograph files by name , but when I click on the folders to view the pictures the folders are all empty .

Anybody got any suggestions here ?

The First question Will be, How did You copy those Pictures into your external HD

Using Copy& Paste , Drag & Drop , Send To , Backup Software?
