I think my USB with Secure Access Vault got corrupted by ejected the USB improperly. The USB opens and displays files, but the .exe file will not open the secure access vault. It just hangs forever. Other files that aren’t in the vault do open, but very slowly. The vault folder itself can be opened, also very slowly. But the .exe will not launch. I never made any backups. Is it possible to recover the files?
In Windows open a Command Prompt window and run a CHKDSK command for the USB drive.
For example: chkdsk x: /f
x: represents the USB drive letter. Change it to match your system’s USB drive.
